Tiffany Haddish has sparked rumours of a feud with Nicki Minaj after being accused of making a shady comment in a leaked clip.

The Girls Trip actress is reported to have taken part in a discussion on Clubhouse recently when she made the remark.

In the audio which began circulating on social media, someone is heard calling Tiffany the ‘Nicki Minaj of comedy right now’.

A male voice then says: ‘But unlike Nicki, she shows up on time.’

A woman’s voice, attributed to Tiffany, replies: ‘And unlike Nicki, I treat everybody with respect and dignity.’

Tiffany, 41, has not directly responded to the controversy but when a Twitter user accused her of ‘dissing’ Nicki for ‘clout’, she replied with a simple: ‘Huh?’

Rapper 50 Cent has weighed into the drama and commented under an Instagram post about the audio leak: ‘SMH, I don’t know why people mess with [Nicki], lol!’

It’s not known if Tiffany and Nicki, 38, have any bad blood but they did have an awkward moment in 2018.

While presenting at the MTV Video Music Awards that year, Tiffany made a joke about Normani which Nicki didn’t seem to appreciate.

When accepting her award later during the awards ceremony, Nicki hit back: ‘Don’t be coming for Fifth Harmony, because Normani is that b***h.’

The audio leak surfaced just as Tiffany shared her reaction to learning she’d just won her first ever Grammy Award.

The comedian won the best comedy album award for Black Mitzvah and was in the middle of filming an episode of Kids Say the Darndest Things with Tiffany Haddish when she heard the news.

As the cameras rolled, Tiffany broke down in tears and explained to the children why the win was so important.

‘You know a Black woman hasn’t won in that category since 1986,’ she said while wiping away tears.

The actress continued: ‘Can I tell you why I’m crying? It’s a lot of bumpy roads that you cross, right? And it’s a lot of times that you feel like, “Am I doing the right thing? Is this good enough? Am I good enough? Am I strong enough to do this job?”

‘And then you just have to believe in yourself as much as you can. Against all odds, you just say, “You know what? I’m going to just put my best foot forward, and I’m going to give the world the best that I got”. Right? Anything is possible.’
