Caroline Flack documentary: What time is it on and where to watch it
Late Love Island presenter Caroline Flack is set to be remembered by those who knew her best in a documentary on her life titled Caroline Flack: Her Life and Death.
In February 2020, Caroline took her own life at the age of 40.
In the new film, interviewees including her mother, twin sister Jody and close friend Olly Murs will open up about the mental health struggles the TV personality faced throughout her life and the events leading up to her suicide.
Channel 4 states that the ‘revealing’ documentary ‘explores the impact that fame, mental health issues, press and social media had on Caroline’s life as her friends and family come to terms with their loss’.
It was recently revealed that in the weeks prior to her death, Caroline was secretly working on a documentary behind-the-scenes of her trial, having been arrested and charged with assault in December 2019 following an altercation with boyfriend Lewis Burton, which she denied.

The documentary is airing tonight, on Wednesday March 17, at 9pm on Channel 4.
The film is a one-off and will last an hour.
What is said in the documentary?
Caroline’s sister, Jody, speaks in the documentary about how her sibling struggled with depression and anxiety and how she ‘begged’ Caroline to quit showbiz in order to take care of her mental wellbeing.
‘I would beg her to change jobs and leave showbiz but she never would, life would have been easier but she wasn’t built for an easy life,’ Jody says to the camera.
‘She was always scared she’d be ridiculed, she was terrified to admit her mental health struggles.’
Olly, who co-hosted The Xtra Factor and The X Factor alongside Caroline, speaks in the film about the torrent of abuse his friend experienced during their time as presenters on the main show in 2015.
The singer explained that when he and Caroline replaced Dermot O’Leary for one series of The X Factor, the vitriol Caroline encountered online ‘was awful’, with the media and social media users ‘constantly’ targeting them with hurtful comments.
‘It was an awful experience to know that everyone hated us on the show,’ Olly said.
‘That X Factor experience for both of us was hard. But again, Caroline, God… she got it so much more than me. I don’t know what it was.’
