Scott Disick has confirmed that his close relationship with ex Kourtney Kardashian did play a part in his split from Sofia Richie last year.
The Keeping Up With The Kardashians star made the revelation during a conversation with his ex-girlfriend, in a preview clip released ahead of the final season’s premiere.
Kourtney – who shares children Mason, 11, Penelope, eight, and six-year-old Reign with Scott – quizzed her former partner about his relationship status after hearing he had ended his three-year romance with Lionel Richie’s daughter, 22.
‘I think people just come into our lives and maybe think it’s easier than they think,’ Scott, 37, replied.
When Kourtney, 41, asked what he meant, he continued: ‘Easier to be with you or to be with me, but it’s very true that we do come with a lot of baggage.
‘And it’s definitely not easy that we see each other, work together, and our friends.’
Scott added: ‘I’ve always been clear that my priority has been my children, my life with them … I even put it out there that taking care of you is one of my priorities.’
The conversation was interrupted by Disick’s confessional in which he described Sofia as ‘an absolute trouper, but the truth is anybody dating somebody is gonna feel neglected when their significant other is spending more time with their ex than with them.’
The camera then cut back to Kourt and Scott on the sofa as he told her: ‘Are we just gonna, like, grow old, travelling the world with the kids, living like one house down from each other or together at some point?’
‘Well, it’s great that we can do that with the kids and the kids, like, love it, you know?’ Kourtney responded. ‘But… and I do think like we do to be respectful of our relationship and make sacrifices for that, if it means a lot to you.’
Previous teasers for the upcoming season have teased Scott still having feelings for Kourtney, but the star just went public with her new boyfriend Travis Barker.
Keeping Up With The Kardashians premieres in the US on March 18. It will be available in the UK the next day on hayu.
