Blue Ivy taking a sip from her first ever Grammy award is a whole mood.

Beyoncé’s daughter was among the winners at this year’s 2021 awards, with the nine-year-old landing her first win at nine years old.

She features on Bey’s track Brown Skin Girl with Nigerian singer Wizkid and American-Guyanese rapper SAINt, as well as in the music video which picked up the Grammy for best music video.

The win meant Blue is now a fully-fledged Grammy winner before hitting double digits and she celebrated by taking a drink from her prize.

Beyoncé shared snaps of Blue posing with her Grammy like the queen she is, while wearing a crown.

One shot saw her drinking out of the gong with a straw – just like her famous dad Jay-Z had wanted her to.

Following his double win at the Grammys in 2014 – he took home best music video for Suit & Tie and best rap/sung performance for Holy Grail, his collaborations with Justin Timberlake – Jay-Z joked while up on stage: ‘I want to tell Blue, Daddy got a gold sippy cup for you.’

Little did he know that Blue would later be drinking from her own gold sippy cup, eh.

Beyoncé shared the boss snaps of her mini-me in a video she posted to Instagram celebrating her own history-making night at this year’s Grammy Awards.

She had led the nominations for 2021 with nine nods and added another four wins to her collection, bringing the total number of Grammy awards with her name on to 28.

Her 28th win saw Beyoncé become the singer with the most Grammy wins ever – male or female.

Delivering an emotional acceptance speech, the Drunk In Love hit-maker said: ‘I am so honoured, I am so excited. As an artist I believe it’s my job and all of our jobs to reflect the times.

‘And it’s been such a difficult time so I wanted to uplift, encourage, celebrate all of the beautiful black queens and kings that continue to inspire me and inspire the whole world.’

She continued: ‘‘This is so overwhelming. I have been working my whole life, since nine years old and I can’t believe this happened, it’s such a magical night. Thank you so much.’

As well as best music video, Beyoncé won best R&B performance with Black Parade and best rap video and rap performance for her Savage Remix collaboration with Megan Thee Stallion.

Other big winners on the night included Taylor Swift, Harry Styles and Dua Lipa.
