Ginny Lemon is remaining an absolute legend after their epic RuPaul’s Drag Race UK walk-off.

The queen left the series of their own accord after landing in the bottom two with Sister Sister in week four, where they flopped in the Morning Glory improv challenge.

Rather than continue their position in the show, Ginny checked out – and in a Drag Race first, walked off the stage with just a goodbye and a wave to the judges.

Catching up with the rest of the queens in tonight’s finale, the queens asked the non-binary star what made them take that leap.

‘What was going through my head in the moment was Ginny Lemon is a f***ing icon and the rest of the world just has to deal with it, basically,’ the star then epically responded.

‘That was what was going through my head.

‘I think I’m the only queen that’s never been eliminated from Drag Race – isn’t that lovely?’

Hey, if you can’t love yourself…

Tonight’s episode provided some emotional reunions for everyone involved, with every queen from season two returning to join the top four – Bimini Bon Boulash, Tayce, Ellie Diamond and Lawrence Chaney – in their final dance.

As well as Ginny, this included Veronica Green, who was sadly forced to withdraw from the competition after testing positive for coronavirus when the production was forced to stop.

Veronica, who has now been given a pass to season three, returned dressed like a superhero, encouraging viewers to mask up and stay safe.

Performing to a remix of RuPaul’s A Little Bit Of Love, each final queen sang their own verse and danced one last choreographed routine.

RuPaul’s Drag Race UK is available on BBC iPlayer (UK) and WOW Presents (Rest of World).
