Zayn Malik says he and Gigi Hadid won’t be rushing into ‘settling down’ following the birth of their first child six months ago.

But the Pillowtalk singer is quite happy to spend his days ‘hanging out’ with daughter Khai, saying she has stopped him being self-absorbed.

‘I didn’t expect to be so into it. Before she was born, I was always into myself,’ admitted the former 1D star.

‘I had time for my relationship but it was still solely about me. The fact that Khai has been so easy to adjust to has been surprising to me because I just love spending my days with her, hanging out with her, just doing really relaxing chill stuff.’ Zayn, who is normally reticent about sharing his private world, described model Gigi, 25, as ‘a wicked mum’.

They live at a hideaway in rural Pennsylvania but the 28-year-old dad, who used to be engaged to Perrie Edwards, said: ‘I haven’t really thought about settling down per se yet.

‘We’re both quite young, even though we’ve had a kid.

‘We’re still thinking about work and things we want to do career-wise… but maybe in the far future, when we eventually pick a place to settle down, it will probably be something kind of similar to this.’

He said he has been ‘watching kid shows on TV, learning nursery rhymes’, adding: ‘It’s a different pace of life, but it’s been easy to adjust to.’

Here is your flat white Slim… Right Here Right Now! Fatboy Slim has been beating lockdown boredom by pitching in at his seaside café, which is open for takeaways.

The 57-year-old DJ, who bought the Big Beach Café in Brighton seven years ago, said: ‘After ten months of sitting at home looking at the walls I started working at my café.

‘I leave the baristas to do the complicated stuff! I just serve and talk to the customers.’

We think it’s Olly over as a trio…

Years & Years are finished as a trio following frontman Olly Alexander’s success on hit Channel 4 show It’s A Sin.

After 11 years, they announced that Mikey Goldsworthy and Emre Turkmen have quit.

Olly, 30, has changed their Twitter biog to the ‘OIly Alexander solo project’ and a statement put out by the band said: ‘Dear Y&Y fans. There’s been some changes that we want to fill you in on.

‘This upcoming new album has been an Olly endeavour and we’ve decided that Years & Years will continue as an Olly solo project. The three of us are still good friends.’

Olly, tipped as a future Doctor Who, said recently: ‘I promise there is gonna be new music very soon.’
