Victoria Beckham mocks infamous pout as she posts rare smiling snaps for International Day of Happiness
Victoria Beckham has celebrated the International Day of Happiness in the most iconic way possible – by sharing proof that she does smile.
The Spice Girl star famously never really cracks a grin publicly, and is a major fan of the pouting selfies.
But she poked fun at her seemingly serious demeanour to commemorate the day.
Taking to Instagram, the 46-year-old blessed us with a montage video of her smiling throughout the years.
Some highlights included a throwback with husband David Beckham, and one of her posing as a child.
She captioned the clip: ‘Some evidence that I actually do smile! Especially for #InternationalDayOfHappiness.’
Victoria also blessed us with photos of sons Cruz and Romeo donning ‘FFS smile’ t-shirts from her fashion line, with the caption: ‘Like mother like sons.’
The Wannabe singer turned fashion designer recently made headlines when she opened up about her musical past – spilling the beans on her Spice Girls exit.
In a letter addressed to her ‘future self’ published in British Vogue, the mum-of-four confessed that seeing close pal Sir Elton John perform that spurred her on to leave.
‘Remember years ago, watching your dear friend Elton John on stage in Las Vegas,’ she penned.
‘He performed Tiny Dancer, as if it were the first time, and you realised this was like oxygen for him.
‘It was a life-changing moment – while singing and dancing was fun for you, it wasn’t your passion. That day, you started your quest to uncover your own dreams.
‘It was time to step away from being a Spice Girl.’
Victoria added, while she found her ‘passion’ in the fashion industry, it was a terrifying decision to ‘close a chapter’ that defined her in life.
‘I know you are still reinventing yourself, taking on new challenges, and ignoring the naysayers,’ she added.
‘You always look beyond the conventional wisdom to pave your own path.
‘First, you found this passion in fashion, and most recently, beauty. What comes next? I’m dying to know.’
Honestly, same.
