Bella Thorne has got engaged to Italian singer Benjamin Mascolo after nearly two years of dating.

The pair – who got together in July 2019 – were filming the final scene of their new movie, Time Is Up, when Benjamin, 25, decided to surprise his girlfriend by getting down on one knee.

And Bella, 23, seemed delighted with the stunning diamond ring, showing off her new rock and locking lips with Ben as he shared the news online.

‘Thank you for being amazing baby. I love you so much. Yayyy we’re getting married. Celebration in Italy and America both,’ he said on camera, with the newly-engaged actress trying to duck around to give him a kiss.

She responded: ‘Yessss. I love you so much. Now give me a kiss.’

Speaking on Instagram Stories, Benjamin later explained how he proposed, and wrote: ‘I wrote the love letter on the back of the script of our movie… at the end of the last scene, she was at monitor watching with the director and… surprise.’

The only noticeable comment was the words Love You at the bottom of the note.

Bella identifies as pansexual, previously telling Good Morning America: ‘You like what you like. Doesn’t have to be a girl, or a guy, or.. you know, a he, a she, a this or that. It’s literally, you like personality, you just like a being.’
