Katie Price’s boyfriend Carl Woods rushed to hospital after breaking hand in freak gym accident

Katie Price’s boyfriend Carl Woods was rushed to hospital yesterday after breaking his hand while working out in his gym.
The former Love Island star spent Saturday night in A&E with Katie by his side, just days after she hinted she is pregnant with their first child together.
It’s said that Carl, 31, became injured after accidentally slipping causing a heavy dumbbell to fall on him.
A source told The Sun: ‘This is the worst possible situation for the pair – they’re now both struggling with severe injuries.
‘Carl has broken three bones in his hand and has had to have his whole arm put into plaster and is now facing an operation to get it fixed.’
The insider added that Carl is in ‘absolute agony’ and spent hours at the hospital getting X-rays.
‘It’s just typical of Katie’s bad luck at the moment that his hand is out of action while she’s recovering from breaking her feet,’ they said.
Katie, 42, is still recovering from her own accident after taking a massive fall on holiday in Turkey last summer. The former Loose Women star underestimated the drop over a wall when she jumped over and ended up breaking both feet.
She’s been told that she is ‘disabled for life’ and may never walk properly again.
Carl was discharged from the hospital on Sunday morning and was comforted by Katie’s eldest son Harvey after returning home.
In an Instagram video, the 18-year-old is seen reacting to Carl’s bandaged arm and said: ‘Sore arm. Get better soon Carl Woods.
‘It’s bad isn’t it Carl, I feel angry.’
When Katie asked why Harvey was angry, he replied that he wanted Carl to ‘be better’.
As Carl revealed he had broken his arm in three places, Harvey said: ‘Be brave.’ He then ‘promised’ to look after Carl and blew him a kiss.
It comes just days after Katie sparked speculation that she’s pregnant with Carl’s baby.
The My Crazy Life star shared an Instagram photo of her cradling her stomach with the caption: ‘Happy and healthy ❤️❤️❤️❤️ it’s the best feeling ever.
‘I thank @carljwoods for being part of me x.’
It would be Katie’s sixth child as, in addition to Harvey, she is already mother to Junior, 15, Princess, 13, Jett, seven, and Bunny, six.
