Marvin Humes fan-girls over wife Rochelle as he celebrates her birthday with sweet tribute: ‘My absolute world’
Marvin Humes was seen fan-girling over his wife Rochelle as he celebrated her birthday in lockdown.
The JLS singer and radio presenter, 36, pulled out all the stops to make Rochelle feel special, as he cutely paid tribute to his wife of 11 years, while declaring his love for her on Instagram.
Alongside a selfie of the pair together, Marvin told fans Rochelle is his ‘absolute world’ as he credited her for being ‘so special’.
He wrote: ‘Here she is..my absolute world 😍 Happy Birthday Rochy. What a few days we’ve had. You make everything you do so special.
‘Thank you for the past 11 incredible birthdays we’ve shared together. The truth is it just gets better. Everything is better with you.’
Marvin signed off: ‘Today is your day and we’ll celebrate how truly amazing you are. I love you. Happy Birthday Baby ❤️,’ before then sharing a series of throwbacks to his Instagram story.
Along with the moment the couple got engaged in the Maldives in 2011, Marvin shared intimate photos of Rochelle moments after giving birth and with her family, as well as videos of the pair enjoying a night in together, with Marvin on his DJ decks.
Rochelle was clearly feeling the love and commented on Marvin’s post: ‘YOU ❤️😍.’
She turned 32 on Sunday and marked the moment on her own Instagram page with an adorable photo of her and her three children she shares with Marvin; daughters Alaia-Mai, seven, Valentina, four, and son Blake, five months.
She welcomed Blake amid the coronavirus pandemic in October last year.
Rochelle and her kids were all decked out in colour-coordinated tracksuits, with the TV presenter penning alongside her photo: ‘So this is 32 ✨(however in my head I’m still 30 as 2 lockdown birthdays don’t count right?).
‘Thanks so much for all the Birthday love..I’ll be here all day.. My heart is full Ps this is the first pic I have had with all 3 of my babies..Mum is always the photographer..
‘Pps I’m so sorry I’ve become one of those people.. I added a couple of birthday stories to my insta then I felt bad and added them all..didn’t realise I’d have that much love 😭🥰 feel free to swipe past me 🤣.’
Her birthday celebrations come after Rochelle has been busy working on a new documentary for Channel 4 investigating Black women and childbirth.
It will explore statistics in the UK that show Black women die during pregnancy, childbirth and shortly after at four times the rate white women do.
Addressing the documentary, Rochelle revealed: ‘I want to find out why this is, and have met some incredibly brave women as part of my investigation into what’s going on.
‘This is a very difficult and sensitive issue, but I think in order to make a change it’s really important to give a voice to families that have lost loved ones in this nature.’
Hoping that the documentary will lead to changes, Rochelle added: ‘I’m hoping in making this film, it leads to tangible changes and solid commitments to bringing these rates down… that’s my goal xx.’
