The Big Bang Theory’s Kaley Cuoco reveals how former co-stars still cheer each other on: ‘The texts are always happening’
The Big Bang Theory stars have been killing it ever since their hit sitcom came to an end in 2019.
Indeed, Kaley Cuoco confirms that they are always reaching out to each other to celebrate successes in their respective careers.
The Flight Attendant actress played Penny in the CBS sitcom for all 12 seasons alongside the likes of Jim Parsons and Johnny Galecki.
Speaking to Metro.co.uk and other press, the 35-year-old actress explained: ‘Everyone is really doing great. It’s wonderful to see, that’s what you hope for right? You hope you want all your friends to be successful.
‘We had a unique experience for so long so to see everyone doing the things they want to be doing and successful. The texts are always happening.’
Recalling a message she received from Jim ahead of the Golden Globes, the 8 Simple Rules star explained how he had been supportive about her first-ever best actress nomination.
She explained: ‘Jim had sent me a text the morning of the Globes because he saw a video I posted. He was like, “I just saw your video.” His message was very cute. He was very excited.
‘It’s just great for all of us because you hope that everyone’s not going to be pigeonholed and everyone from the show is doing the things they want to be doing. It really wonderful, I’m thrilled.’
Kaley also revealed her hopes to do a reunion special with her TBBT co-stars in the future, citing the upcoming Friends HBO Max project as an ideal format.
The former Charmed actress gushed over the possibility of getting back together with her co-stars on screen as she stated: ‘I would, for sure, do a reunion. Absolutely… I am down for a reunion for Big Bang.’
Kaley continued: ‘But Big Bang just ended so I think we need to give it a little bit of a break. I look forward to a reunion. I hope that our cast would be down for that sometime in the future. I’m ready for that, anytime.’
Until then, fans are getting to see Kaley spread her wings in her dramatic new series, The Flight Attendant.
Big Bang Theory is available to stream on Netflix in the UK.
