Orlando Bloom was widely mocked on social media after sharing his unique morning routine.

With toast and cereal out of the equation, the 44-year-old explained he prefers to ‘earn his breakfast’ and starts his day by mixing his green powders with ‘brain octane oil, a collagen powder for his hair and nails, and some protein.’

Admitting to The Sunday Times that his routine was ‘quite L.A really,’ the Brit said he then goes on a hike while listening to some Nirvana or Stone Temple Pilots.

Having finally ‘earned’ his breakfast, the Pirates Of The Caribbean star enjoys porridge with ‘a little hazelnut milk, cinnamon, vanilla paste, hazelnuts, goji berries, a vegan protein powder’, complete with a cup of PG Tips.

Orlando, who shares six-month daughter Daisy with fiancée Katy Perry, added that his diet is ‘90% plant-based’.

‘I’ll only eat a really good piece of red meat, maybe once a month. I sometimes look at a cow and think, that’s the most beautiful thing ever,’ Orlando said.

The star’s hilarious morning routine went viral on Twitter, with some genuinely believing the interview was fake, while others recounted their own routines in stark contrast.

One person wrote: ‘Genuinely thought the Orlando Bloom interview in The Sunday Times was a spoof. Is it really not?’

Another tweeted: ‘Me laughing with others at Orlando Bloom’s breakfast regime after consuming half a bag of Tangfastics this morning.’

A third echoed: ‘Wondered why Orlando Bloom was trending so read this after lurching out of bed at 10.50 then drinking three cups of tea, and eating a bacon butty and a toffee crisp.’

Speaking of the hunk, a fourth added: ‘In case anyone is interested, I no longer fancy Orlando Bloom.’

Another humoured: ‘Wondering why Orlando Bloom was trending and reading this level of cringe has put me right off my brain oil and chants for the day.’

Meanwhile, in another interview with The Guardian, Orlando admitted he wasn’t having enough sex with his other half Katy following their daughter Daisy’s birth.

The actor is also father to 10-year-old son Flynn from his former marriage to model Miranda Kerr.
