Premier League odds: Newcastle now favourites for relegation with Fulham backed to survive
BETFAIR are backing Fulham to survive with Newcastle now odds-on favourites to be relegated from the Premier League.
Steve Bruce’s Newcastle were ten points clear of the drop zone in February, but they’re just two points above Fulham in 17th.

The Toon have lost 11 of their past 18 top-flight games including a damaging defeat to fellow Premier League strugglers Brighton.
Newcastle rank bottom for big chances created and passes in opposition territory with only West Brom having recorded fewer touches in their opponents’ penalty area.
They also face the likely prospect of playing their final nine fixtures without midfielder Isaac Hayden, who looks set to miss the remainder of the campaign with a knee injury.
Bookmakers Betfair have responded by pricing Newcastle at odds-on 8/11 to drop into the Championship.

That’s despite having played a game less than rivals Fulham.
Scott Parker’s side have only recorded one win in their last five outings but Betfair are tipping them to survive at odds of 6/5.
Newcastle’s last ten fixtures include Tottenham, West Ham, Liverpool, Arsenal, Leicester and Manchester City.
Fulham, meanwhile, travel to Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester United in what looks a more favourable run-in.
The pair meet at Craven Cottage on the final day of the 2020-21 campaign in what could be a straight shootout for survival.
After their recent defeat to the Seagulls, Bruce told reporters: “I’ll take full responsibility. We were nowhere near the levels we need to be. That’s a concern.
“I’ve been in the game a long time. It’s very difficult. We’re still confident we can get out of the situation. I’ll never give up the fight.”
Winger Ryan Fraser added: “The mood is the lowest it’s been.
“We need to save our season now. We want to try and work on how we’re going to stay in the league. We’re not in the bottom three yet and we’ve still got games remaining.”
