Parklife has confirmed it will be returning in 2021 and unveiled some big names for the line-up.

Megan Thee Stallion, Dave (performing a UK festival exclusive headline set) Skepta and Disclosure are booked to perform this year should the road map out of lockdown go to plan.

The bill for the Manchester festival also includes Da Baby, Burna Boy, Mabel, Eric Prydz, Andy C and slowthai.

You won’t have long to wait to grab your tickets as pre-sale launches at 10am on Wednesday March 24. General sale kicks off at 10am on Thursday March 25.

Parklife takes place on September 11 and 12 at Heaton Park, Manchester.

Like many festivals in 2020 Parklife had to be shelved due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Some events have been cautiously announcing their grand returns for 2021, including Reading and Leeds Festival, Isle of Wight, and Wireless.

Wireless, which has moved to South London for the first time, clashes with Parklife as that will go ahead at Crystal Palace Park on September 10-12, 2021.

Wireless did not reveal who is on the line-up, but the likes of Skepta, A$AP Rocky and Meek Mill were among those scheduled to take to the stage last year before it was axed.

However some festivals, such as Download and Glastonbury, have decided to sit this year out.

It’s unclear what a festival in a Covid-19 world will look like, but festival director Tom Paine previously gave Metro.co.uk his take.

He said we could see double the amount of toilets, on-site testing and booking only acts from within the UK to cut out the need for artists to travel.
