Bridgerton’s Phoebe Dynevor is all about her morning cuppa as she steps out in Manchester after those Pete Davidson dating rumours
Phoebe Dynevor wasn’t giving anything away as she stepped out in Manchester after rumours she is dating Saturday Night Live host Pete Davidson started doing the rounds.
The Bridgerton star was all about her morning cuppa, as she headed out to grab a tea before throwing herself into a five-hour long meeting in preparation for her first major film debut.
Phoebe was seen heading out in Greater Manchester and took precautions amid the coronavirus pandemic, as she covered up in a plastic face shield and white mask.
A far cry away from her onscreen alter-ego Daphne Bridgerton, Phoebe ditched her regal corseted dresses for something a little more comfortable, as she rocked jeans, a monochrome knitted jumper and puffer jacket.
Phoebe juggled a huge tote bag over her shoulder with her Louis Vuitton arm candy and was seen clutching onto her car keys and her cup of tea.
She jumped in the car to head to a pre-production meeting for Sky original movie The Colour Room, which she’s set to star in as leading lady Clarice Cliff – a real life ceramic artist who went on to become a pioneer in the pottery industry.
Phoebe will star alongside Matthew Goode, who fans will recognise from TV series A Discovery Of Witches.
Throwing herself into her latest project, it seems like Phoebe is brushing off recent rumours that are linking her to Ariana Grande’s ex-fiancé Pete.
It’s believed Phoebe met the comedian during a trip to New York last month when she had been filming for US sitcom Younger.
She had shared pictures from Brooklyn, where Pete lives, with fans on Instagram and wrote alongside her post: ‘Grateful I got to be here for a hot sec.’
Speculation the pair are dating came after Pete reportedly flew to Manchester to hang out with the Netflix star.
Pete was seen in a photo with fans shared to the Altrincham HQ Facebook and the post revealed: ‘Bizarre Altrincham spot of the day today. Pete Davidson in the market quarter. Star of King Of Staten Island … and also in the forthcoming Suicide Squad movie. He’s staying over in Altrincham with friends.’
Phoebe lives in Manchester, where her mum soap star Sally Dynevor films for Coronation Street.
‘Pete is a real charmer and has hit it off with Phoebe, who is obviously beautiful and talented. They have been enjoying each other’s company, although they haven’t known each other long,’ a source told The Sun.
‘The fact he has flown all the way to the UK shows how interested he is.’
Pete has previously dated actress Kate Beckinsale and split from model Kaia Gerber last year.
Phoebe, meanwhile, recently shot down claims she was dating her Bridgerton co-star Regé-Jean Page, after fans became obsessed with their onscreen chemistry.
Speaking to You magazine, Phoebe said: ‘I’d love to say there was really something between us, but no, it has always been strictly professional.
‘There was so much pressure on us to get it right, that it was all about the work. We have a really professional working relationship.’
Bridgerton centres on the romance between Phoebe’s character Daphne and Regé-Jean’s character Simon Bassett, the Duke of Hastings.
The show landed on Netflix on Christmas Day and went on to become a huge success, smashing records to become the streaming platform’s biggest ever series as it was watched by a huge 82million households.
Bosses have already confirmed that season two of Bridgerton is on its way, with Jonathan Bailey set to take centre stage this time round as Viscount Lord Anthony Bridgerton.
Bridgerton is available to stream on Netflix.
