Kelly Clarkson was left speechless after Gwyneth Paltrow revealed the NSFW song that helps to lift her spirits.

During Wednesday’s episode of The Kelly Clarkson Show, the Iron Man actress revealed her love for Cardi B and Megan Thee Stallion’s chart-topping hit, WAP.

Clearly, Kelly hadn’t been expecting the Goop founder to go for such an X-rated song choice – WAP stands for Wet A** P***y, for those who didn’t know.

In the hilarious exchange, Gwyneth’s answer left Kelly freaking out as she stated: ‘I’m done! I need to see the tape back, because I felt like I was like, “Oh, wait what?”

‘That was amazing! God, you win for favorite guest this season. No, that was amazing. I needed that in my soul.’

Since its release last summer, WAP has caused quite a stir with it’s sexualised lyrics and equally race music video.

In fact, a new study found the song to be the most popular choice on 500 sex-related playlists on Spotify, as researched by OnBuy.com

They analyzed the most frequently occurring songs on people’s bedroom playlists, and Cardi and Megan’s track was on 197 out of the 500 in the study.

However, the hit single has faced plenty of criticism following its release – with Cardi getting into many arguments in defense of her racy tune.

Despite the backlash, WAP’s success is in the pudding as it reached number one on both the UK and US Billboard Hot 100 charts last year.
