A Lego Darth Vader helmet would look great on your mantlepiece

Two iconic new Star Wars helmets have been recreated through the medium of Lego, as well as a really cool looking Imperial Probe Droid.

Everyone loves Lego and everyone loves Star Wars but they both have the same problem, in that anything to do with them tends to be really expensive.

The recent line of Lego Star Wars helmets though has been a relatively inexpensive way to indulge your love of both and already includes the likes of Boba Fett, a Stormtrooper, and a TIE Fighter Pilot (they’ve also started doing Marvel ones too, with a neat Iron Man set).

Now Lego has added to the range with the bane of Baby Yoda and, relatively, expert speeder bike rider, the Scout Trooper. Not only that but the most iconic headwear of them all, in the form of Darth Vader, Dark Lord of the Sith.

Vader’s helmet is much more complicated than anyone else’s and is made up of 834 pieces, which costs £59.99 in the UK. The Scout Trooper is a little simpler and is made up of 471 pieces for a considerably cheaper £44.99.

Although it’s not a helmet as such, also being released at the same time is an Imperial Probe Droid, from the beginning of The Empire Strikes Back.

It’s roughly the same size as the helmets, at 27 cm tall, but is designed more like an Ultimate Collectors Series model, complete with its own little iced-over name plaque. The Imperial Probe Droid set is made up of 638 pieces and costs £59.99.

All three models are available for pre-order now, from Lego.com, and will go on general sale at the website and other retailers from April 26.
