Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Brandi Glanville has revealed she suffered from second-degree burns on her face after an accident.

The 48-year-old took to Twitter to clear up speculation about the changes in her appearance after her virtual TV appearance on an Australia news channel.

After claims the Bravo star might have secretly undergone some sort of cosmetic procedure, Brandi took to social media to set the record straight.

The reality star explained: ‘So this happened to me in December 2nd degree burns all over my face from an accident with a psoriasis light…’

She continued: ‘I am still healing & really didn’t want to share these photos…’

The star stated she only chose to share the images in order to give ‘the 411’ about speculation over the recent change in her appearance.

One fan responded with well-wishes and Brandi responded: ‘I’m OK, but you know it happened in December. I’m still swollen and having people attack my looks just makes me feel like I never wanna leave my house and I just want to cry.

‘My retinas were burned, my eyelashes burned off [so] I couldn’t open my eyes [for] three days, the light was so painful.’

Another fan told the star that they are ‘miserable’ with their psoriasis as well, and Brandi replied: ‘I have [feelings] too. I’m going through a lot. My best friend has pancreatic cancer. It just seems like it’s not the time to attack [people’s] looks.’

Psoriasis is a condition that causes red and crusty patches of skin covered with silvery scales. The main symptoms of psoriasis are patches of skin that are dry, red and covered in silver scales.

Mild psoriasis can be treated with creams and ointments. If these do not work, you may need light treatment (phototherapy) or stronger medicines.

The Unfiltered podcast host previously denied having any work done, other than Botox and fillers.

In 2018, she also claimed she has experienced facial paralysis and third-degree burns after getting laser hair removal on her face.
