Emma marked the moment herself as she re-tweeted a GIF of Simon in action on BBC News as he wrapped up his final week for the broadcaster, while reaching for a box of tissues.

Will Simon McCoy be on GB News?
Following his sudden BBC exit, Simon confirmed that he will be joining brand new channel GB News, which is set to rival Sky News and BBC News when it launches.
Director of News and Programmes at GB News, John McAndrew, said of Simon’s addition to the presenting team: ‘Simon’s journalistic integrity, warmth and personality is a perfect fit for what we’re doing at GB News.
‘He’s a brilliant journalist with an exceptional ability to relate to people in an upbeat way so we’re keen to get him out from behind a desk and talking to people from all parts of the United Kingdom.’
Simon will front an afternoon programme on the channel and joins the presenting team alongside former Sky News anchor Colin Brazier and The Apprentice winner Michelle Dewberry.
GB News has been described as the biggest TV channel to launch in the UK since Sky News established 30 years ago.
The channel has financial backing from Discovery and instead of being a rolling news channel, it will broadcast individual programmes and news-based programmes built around its presenting team.
Speculation is mounting that Piers Morgan could also join the channel, following his shock exit from Good Morning Britain in March.
