Kim Kardashian shut down all talk surrounding her husband Kanye West during the latest edition of the Keeping Up With The Kardashians’ final season, filmed when the rapper announced he was running for president of the United States and their marriage became fractured.

Despite speaking to her sister Khloe, 36, Kourtney, 41, and pal Malika Haqq, 38, about her trying time with Kanye, 43, Kim, 40, refused to discuss the problems in their relationship on camera.

At the time, Kanye confirmed he was running in the 2020 presidential election, and shared a series of concerning tweets about the Kardashian family.

Clearly distressed, Kim assured the group she was ‘sane’ when put on the spot about potentially becoming the next first lady.

‘That is what I’m not sure of,’ Kim sighed. ‘It’s been a long day.’

‘It’s no secret that everyone sees things in the media about my life with Kanye,’ she explained. ‘But I’ve always been really respectful in not talking about [our] issues… I mean, you guys clearly see them on Twitter, so I’m still gonna choose to not really talk about it here.

‘I try to just support him,’ she went on. ‘I don’t want to talk about it on camera. I just don’t want to talk about Kanye or anything.’

Khloe admitted the Kardashian klan were concerned for Kim, particularly as she wasn’t opening up to the family about her troubles.

Later, Kim was seen speaking to a member of Kanye’s team, stressing she will continue to support the aspiring politician.

‘I’m happy to come,’ she told them. ‘I mean, I can get on a plane tonight. When I talk to him, he says ”No.” I’m happy to come tomorrow. I’m happy to come next week. Whatever he wants… I’m still happy to come there and be supportive and chill with him, and hang out with him, and I know he needs that.’

Opening up to cameras in a confessional, Kim said: ‘Kanye’s been in Wyoming and he’s been posting a lot of things on social media, so that is a little bit frustrating.

‘But you just kind of have to separate yourself from what’s going on at home and what’s going on on the Internet. So I’m trying to go to Wyoming so I can be with him.’

Kim’s mum Kris Jenner, 65, told the rest of the family the mum of four was ‘struggling’.

‘I just don’t know how she’s dealing with the stress of it all. She’s always the calm in the storm. I think she’s got a lot on her plate,’ she said.

In turn, the family threw Kim a party, to put her worries aside. However, talk soon turned to Kanye, when Kourtney revealed she received a phone call from the hip hop giant.

‘He said, ”It would be nice to be able to say things”,’ she recalled. ‘I said, ”Yeah, say what you want to say; maybe it’ll start people thinking a certain way or getting a thought in their head, but did you have to say those Tweets publicly?’ And he said, ”No, you’re right. I shouldn’t say that publicly. It’s better to say that one-on-one”.’

Before jetting off to Wyoming to stand by Kanye, Kim said in another confessional: ‘My life with Kanye, I got this. I’m dealing with this on my own. It’s gonna be okay, and I love coming over to Malibu and just being as in-the-moment as possible. My sisters know that, and I love them for it.’

Kim filed for divorce from Kanye in February 2021. According to sources, the couple are no longer talking but are co-parenting their four children.

Keeping Up With The Kardashians airs Thursdays on E! in the US and Hayu in the UK.
