A BRAND new series of The Circle means a brand new host of contestants.

Each of the players can live by themselves or in a pair, but are able to communicate via the show’s exclusive social media platform The Circle. From a strength coach to an accountant, this year’s line-up is set to be as hilarious as ever…

Jamie and Millie – Playing as Penny

Jamie and Millie are a father and daughter duo[/caption]

Student Millie and her relationship therapist dad Jamie will be playing Penny, a 49-year-old letting agent from London.

Jamie said: “The catfish we’ve created together, Penny, is a very likeable, slightly sassy, come from the school of hard knocks 49-year-old. She’s a great listener.”

Millie said of her motivation to go on The Circle: “It’s just one of the most unique games you can go into.

“With social  media nowadays, it’s all about the way you present yourself.”

Tally – Playing as herself

Tally, 23, is a receptionist at a doctor’s surgery.

She said she wanted to join because she’s “embarrassed” of the persona she’s built on Instagram.

Tally said: “I have built this Instagram that doesn’t really represent me as a person.

“I really want to go on The Circle to  strip everything back and be perceived as my normal quirky self rather than these posey, edited pictures.

“I want to see if you are really only accepted if you look a certain way.”

Billy – Playing as himself

Sports marketing manager Billy is playing as himself[/caption]

Sports marketing manager, Billy, 19, is clear about why he’s competing on The Circle, and that’s “the prize money”.

The Essex teen who’ll be playing himself said: “I do also like the game – The Circle is different to everything  else, it’s very unique so I thought, why not?”

He added: “I think what you say does matter. I can talk for England, so hopefully conversation won’t be a problem!”

Yolanda – Playing as her husband Chris

Yolanda will be playing her husband Chris[/caption]

Yolanda, 30, runs a dating agency and will be playing her husband Chris on the show.

She hopes by winning the cash prize she can help Chris open his own landscaping firm.

She said: “A lot of people feel the world has given up on them and we  want to help give people the opportunity to succeed and grow by learning a trade.”

Andy – Playing as himself

Company director Andy, 34, wants to win the show with a bit of “integrity”.

Playing himself, Andy explained: “My motivation is to show that you can win it with a bit of integrity.

“I really want to get a catfish to admit to me that they’re a catfish.”

Hashu – Playing as his Uncle Syed

Hashu will play his Uncle Syed on the show[/caption]

Birmingham’s Hashu, 28, has always loved pranking people and will play his Uncle Syed on the show.

He explained: “I’ve always been the one in the house that makes everyone else laugh.

“This is the perfect opportunity for me  to put my pranking and catfishing abilities to the test and entertain the British  public, whilst hopefully getting a cash injection.”

James – Playing as NHS nurse Gemma

Strength coach James will be playing an NHS nurse[/caption]

Strength coach James, 47, will be playing NHS nurse Gemma on the Channel 4 series.

The former Gladiator wants to try a different challenge that isn’t “bone crushing” and plans to use any money he wins to donate it to NHS nurses.

He said: “I think The Circle will be an interesting challenge to try and get  away with playing somebody else, it uses different muscles to what I’m used to.”

Manrika – Playing as herself

Manrika, 24, from Birmingham feels she’s “been judged my whole life for the way I live because I come from an Indian background”.

The recruitment consultant who will be playing herself said: “I’m going on to show that you can still live your life, have that  social media lifestyle and also be a respectable girl.”

Vithun – Playing as himself

Vithun is a 23-year-old accountant from London[/caption]

Vithun is a 23-year-old accountant from London who will be playing himself.

Vithun is keen to make history as the first “Asian winner of a civilian reality TV show in the UK”.

He said: “I’m not just here for my 15 minutes of fame. I’m looking to create reality TV history.”


When is The Circle 2021 on Channel 4 and how can I watch it?

The Circle season three is on Channel 4 TONIGHT at 10pm.

It will be available to watch after it has aired on All4.
