Selling Sunset’s Mary Fitzgerald hasn’t spoken to Christine Quinn after being called out over baby news
Selling Sunset star Mary Fitzgerald still hasn’t spoken to Christine Quinn after her baby drama.
Things became awkward between the former best pals recently, when the mum-to-be called her Netflix co-stars out for not ‘liking’ her pregnancy announcement.
In a video shared on TikTok, Christine could be seen searching for Mary, Heather Rae Young and Chrishell Stause in the ‘likes’ of her baby post on Instagram – with Chris Brown’s Loyal in the background as she failed to find them.
Spilling the beans on their fractured bond to Metro.co.uk, Mary revealed she ‘had no idea’ about the video until she was asked about it in another interview – and doesn’t ‘care to’ speak to her colleague anymore.
When asked if she had reached out to Christine since the footage in question, she told us: ‘No, and I don’t care to now.
‘I thought we were fine, I keep making effort and I’m just not going to get into it. When there’s good things to say, I’ll continue to reach out but I’m not going to call her and get into it with her.
‘I’m sure there’s going to be plenty of that when we start filming. I’m going to try to have some peace for the time being.’
The reality star also insisted that she reached out to the expectant mum privately over her baby news, and they had a sweet conversation about Christine’s upcoming arrival.
‘I sent her voice memo congratulating her,’ Mary continued. ‘She texted me back like, “Oh my God, thank you so much, that’s so sweet. I can’t wait. I’m so excited. I can’t wait to tell you about it”.
‘I have like this whole text chain and a long message I left her about how happy I am for her. Then she does that…’
Mary stated that she doesn’t tend to look at her pals’ Instagram pages as she’s ‘so busy’ – stating that if someone has something they want to tell her, they can come to her personally.
‘I don’t need to go on my friend’s Instagram to know what’s going on in their life. That’s my view but I’m kind of old school,’ she vowed.
‘I don’t Insta stalk people to see what they’re up to.
‘To me it’s so crazy. She should only be offended if I said negative comments, not because I didn’t go and Insta stalk her and comment publicly.
‘What does it matter if I comment publicly? It’s mind boggling to me.’
Bring on series four…
Selling Sunset is available to stream on Netflix now.
