Mum reveals adorable £15 ‘pay packet’ her young son received from builders after he helped them do their work
A MUM has praised her builders after they sent her young son a £15 “pay packet” for helping them with their work.
Laura-Nicole Anderson posted a photo of her son’s first ever “payslip” on Twitter yesterday which left him “chuffed to bits”.
She wrote: “The sweetest act of kindness from the electricians that Theo has hounded with questions, kindness and constant offers of help while they worked. Thank you Seytons Electrical, you made his day!!”
The Hull-based business broke Theo’s contribution to their work down into five categories – including measuring items, baking them cookies and counting the number of sockets in the home.
For each four of these tasks, the company paid little Theo £1.50.
But they then chucked in an extra fiver for his “quality assurance” – i.e. “asking lots of questions”.

The tweet has racked up over 120,000 “likes” across Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn – and people praised the company’s sweet gesture.
“This is our friend’s business, they were only telling us about this last night and today it’s gone mad,” one replied. “They are genuinely lovely lads and they deserve all the credit they’re getting for it. Well done lads!”
Another added: “What a kind thing to do and your son will remember his first job for life, also what a wonderful company to do that. I hope they get loads of work on the back of their kindness.”
“This is absolutely lovely,” a third gushed.
