Emma Stone and husband Dave McCary reportedly welcomed their first child together earlier this month.

The La La Land star, 32, is said to have given birth at an Los Angeles hospital on Saturday March 13, however there was no word on whether they had had a bouncing baby boy or girl.

Now PEOPLE has revealed the couple are proud parents to a baby daughter.

The star pregnancy was revealed in photos published by Mail Online which showed the Easy A actress cradling her bump while out with a friend in LA.

An insider previously told Us Weekly that Emma was ‘very excited’ to become a mum.

They said: ‘She’s constantly oohing and cooing. She looks great, she looks healthy, she’s glowing.

‘She’s been keeping up with friends and work lately, she’s always staying active and gets her daily exercise in.’

Emma and Dave, 35, got engaged in December 2019 and are believed to have secretly tied the knot in September 2020.

The couple were reportedly planning to marry last March but decided to postpone the wedding due to the coronavirus pandemic.

The new parents have both been spotted wearing gold wedding bands on their ring fingers.

Having a family has always been a desire of Emma, as she previously told pal Jennifer Lawrence for ELLE that she really wanted to get married and have children.

‘My perspective about kids has changed as I’ve gotten older,’ she said.

‘I never babysat or anything. As a teenager, I was like, “I’m never getting married, I’m never having kids”. And then I got older and I was like, I really want to get married, I really want to have kids.

The star said at the time, ahead of her 30th birthday, that she had found you can ‘pick your family’.

‘I think friendship is pretty much everything. You realize that your friendships, the people who go with you into these next phases of your life—you’re choosing your family.’

The Oscar winner will next be seen in Disney’s live-action film Cruella, in which she takes on the role of the iconic 101 Dalmatians villain.
