George Kambosos Jr.

In a division filled with big-name boxers, George Kambosos Jr. is a relatively unknown figure. However, the Australian aims to make his mark on the division when he takes on the champion, Teofimo Lopez. And ahead of their bout, he has sent a stern warning to ‘The Takeover’.

Kambosos Jr. is the mandatory challenger for all of Teofimo Lopez’s belts. And after a series of rumors, Lopez finally had to face Kambosos Jr. as a result of a purse bid. The two will reportedly face each other on June 5.

As the buildup to the fight intensifies, Kambosos Jr. has sent his warning to the American. He took to Instagram to share a video of a vicious one-punch knockout and wrote, “One Shot, One Kill, You Know The Deal…..We Bred Different”.

With this, the undefeated Kambosos Jr. showed his confidence in beating the champion. Moreover, it also suggested that the Australian thinks he differs from the others. Therefore, this would be the perfect opportunity for ‘Ferocious’ to prove his worth.

Can George Kambosos Jr. knockout Teofimo Lopez?

Lopez is the star of the division holding multiple belts. However, Kambosos Jr. is on a mission to dethrone ‘The Takeover.’ Although, this will be harder than he claims given Lopez is undefeated even after facing Vasyl Lomachenko. So can Kambosos Jr. actually knockout Teofimo Lopez?

The Australian may be a relatively unknown fighter in the division. Despite this, he is a supremely talented boxer with fast hands, good movement, and incredible speed. Moreover, his power could surprise opponents at 135 lbs.

In addition, the Australian has world champion experience in his locker. He has sparred Manny Pacquiao in the past, and has opened up on how much he learned from those sessions. If Kambosos Jr. can add up all his qualities, he has a good chance of beating Lopez.

However, Lopez has a great chin, and thus, his claim of a one-punch knockout seems a little too far-fetched.

What do you make of this warning from George Kambosos Jr. to Teofimo Lopez? Do you think the Australian has what it takes to knock out Lopez with one punch?
