Robbie Williams was ever the helpful husband as he assisted his wife Ayda Field with getting rid of her blackened toenail that was hanging off.

Ayda, who is in domestic bliss with the Take That star and their children in lockdown, shared a gruesome video on Instagram of the troublesome nail being ‘yanked’ from her foot with a pair of tweezers.

She explained that her trouble started when she stubbed her little toe recently and initially thought the pain would go away.

However the toenail changed colour and began causing her pain, prompting her to decide to remove it completely.

The former X Factor star said in the clip: ‘I stubbed my toe a couple of months ago, and I thought I would save it. It’s been black but today it’s been hurting me and now its come off.

‘So I’m going to film…I’ve never yanked off a toenail. I’ve lost toenails but I’ve never quite yanked one.’

A pair tweezers then comes into view and grips the centre of the nail (yes it has come that loose), which Ayda had painted a striking shade of pink like the other nine toes.

The mum-of-four can be heard screaming in pain as Robbie pulls and quickly tugs the nail free.

Thanks for sharing, Ayda! We feel your pain.

The Williamses are reportedly set to relocate to Switzerland, with the Millennium singer even putting his ‘haunted’ Wiltshire mansion on the market.

The couple and kids Teddy, Charlton, Coco and Beau, lived in Geneva for six months in the summer during the pandemic to make sure they wanted to live there permanently.

It was rumoured that their Swiss home cost £24million and the singer is ‘delighted’ with the property.
