WWE faction the Hurt Business broke up during Monday Night Raw as the night ended with King Corbin answering Bobby Lashley’s call.

The night opened with the group coming to the ring as MVP promised Lashley will win at WrestleMania, and insisted the bounty he’s put on Drew McIntyre’s head isn’t a sign of weakness.

The WWE Champion himself then tore down Cedric Alexander and Shelton Benjamin for losing to the Scottish star last week, which led to a fight as Lashley laid out his former associates.

Later in the night, Bobby took on Shelton one-on-one in a dominating victory which sadly seems to confirm the Hurt Business as we know it really is over.

Drew spent the night looking for someone to fight him backstage, with Ricochet eventually stepping up to the place for what became a surprisingly even match.

The One And Only got in a fair bit of offence on the former world champion, only to fall victim to the Claymore before Mustafa Ali attacked after the bell.

This led to a match with the former RETRIBUTION leader, with McIntyre picking up another win and calling out Lashley to face him.

The All Mighty obliged, with the pair talking trash before sparking a brawl – however, SmackDown star King Corbin attacked from behind, leaving Bobby with the chance to put on the Hurt Lock.

Given Lashley’s promise that whoever took out Drew would get themselves a title shot, it sounds like the former US Champion has done himself some favours here.

This was a strong and entertaining ending to the show, although it’s definitely a shame that Hurt Business have split after how great they’ve been over the past year.

Riddle forgets his lines, Rhea Ripley and Asuka have a contract signing and Omos gets violent

The first match of the night came after Sheamus attacked Riddle backstage, leading to a hard hitting and competitive match.

Their early takedowns actually felt real rather than a well rehearsed routine, and they built up the energy well until a slightly botched Brogue Kick led to the win.

Shane McMahon, Elias and Jaxson Ryker continued to mock Braun Strowman, with the former reading out a faked report card from the Monster Among Men’s schooldays.

Strowman dominated Ryker in their match – including more bizarre train sound effects – and got the win, before the heels jumped on the attack.

Braun got the upper hand though, and revealed he and Shane will meet inside a Steel Cage at WrestleMania 37.

Elsewhere, The Miz and John Morrison did their thing, ranting about Bad Bunny before unveiling their new music video Hey Hey, Hop Hop.

Damian Priest and the Grammy Award-winning Musician then hit the ring, talking trash and leading to Bunny smacking the A-Lister in the face.

We also saw The New Day face off with AJ Styles and Omos in a series of party games to test their teamwork, with everyone involved making this more entertaining than it should have been.

The giant put a stop to things, insisting all he and Styles have to do is win to prove they’re the better team.

AJ then took on Xavier Woods in a damn fine match to get everyone excited for WrestleMania, with Omos attacking Woods and Kofi Kingston for the disqualification as he gave a hint of his in-ring style.

Elsewhere, after Randy Orton addressed The Fiend earlier in the night and promised to sink into hell to get Bray Wyatt out of his life, Alexa Bliss responded in her playground.

She told a creepy story about jack in the boxes, and said the Legend Killer will die at Mania before revealing The Fiend on the swing next to her.

In the ring, Naomi got a quick win over Shayna Baszler with Reginald, Lana, Nia Jax, Mandy Rose and Dana Brooke all providing some ringside chaos.

Finally, after a backstage skit where Riddle openly said he forgot his lines, Asuka hit the ring for her contract signing with Rhea Ripley, with both women coming across strongly.

Until, that is, Jax, Baszler and Reginald came out to interrupt and insisted they want a Mania match, challenging the opponents to a tag team match next week – because of course they did.
