Ant Middleton has claimed he’s like ‘Piers Morgan and Jeremy Clarkson’ after he was axed from SAS: Who Dares Wins.

The ex-Special Forces soldier was removed from the endurance training show going forward after ‘personal conduct’ on set.

He has since denied that this was due to ‘inappropriate comments’ about female crew members, but has brushed off anything he may have said as ‘banter’.

Now, as Ant spends time in Australia to film SAS over there, he has claimed that his exit has seen numerous job offers in his favour – just like Piers after he quit GMB this month, and Jeremy’s 2015 exit from Top Gear for ‘punching a producer’.

Speaking on The Diary Of A CEO podcast, he said: ‘This last week so many doors have opened, production companies and channels calling me.

‘You get cancelled then that’s your career done but you’ve got Piers Morgans, Jeremy Clarksons and now you’ve got your Ant Middletons.

‘I’m not going to be comfortable with everyone, and I’m not going to be their cup of tea.

‘Well that’s fine because guess what, I don’t want to work with you.’

He added he would refuse to anyone who would ask him to change or if he’s ‘questioned about who he is’.

Channel 4 announced that Ant would be leaving the show earlier this year, in a statement that said they had ‘a number of discussions with him regarding his personal conduct’.

But speaking on Good Morning Britain, Ant dismissed accusations against him and said that any comments were ‘indirect and just military banter’ – and that Channel 4 was trying to ‘protect its brand’ by saying they fired him, when he actually quit.

He said: ‘There’s a new protocol that came in their health and safety that if they feel offended, or they want to complain, they can complain, anonymously.

‘So it’s obviously something that they’ve seen. They’ve seen a bit of military banter. They’ve seen a bit of military humour. They’ve seen us talk about our crew or maybe a production member whilst we’re in the DS story or something like that, it’s not direct.

‘It’s something indirect that they’ve complained about that they’ve seen and they felt offended by.’He’s since been scrubbed from The Prince’s Trust charity website, despite previously working closely with them.

SAS: Who Dares Wins airs later this year on Channel 4.
