Congress Heights DC mass shooting sees ‘multiple people’ injured in Washington

A MASS shooting in Washington DC has seen multiple people injured.

Cops were called to the scene at Savannah Terrace and Congress Street just after 1.20pm in the capital on Wednesday.

The Metropolitan Police Department confirmed to The Sun that there were multiple victims from gunshot wounds.

Fire and Emergency Medical Services spokesperson Vito Maggiolo told the Washington Post that four people were transported to hospital.

Out of this, two people were reportedly in critical condition. No further information about the pair was given.
