Croydon stabbing – Man stabbed to death and two wounded on same street where teenager was killed four weeks ago
A MAN has been fatally stabbed in London and two are in hospital after a knife brawl weeks after a teen was murdered on the same street.
Shocked neighbours on Alpha Road in Croydon say cops ran from their vehicles with first aid kits and a defibrillator to try and save the man.

The road was cordoned off and a large crime scene has been established to investigate the death during one of two vicious knife brawls on Tuesday night – the other involved a 10-strong group in Milton Keynes.
A spokesman for the Met Police said that officers were called at approximately 9.10pm on Tuesday, March 30, to reports of a stabbing on Alpha Road in Croydon.
Officers attended along with paramedics from the London Ambulance Service.
But the knifed man was pronounced dead at the scene.
Enquiries are ongoing to trace his next of kin, the Met Police adds.
Two men self-presented at a south London hospital with stab injuries.
No further details have been released about their wounds, but cops say they are believed to be connected to the same fatal incident.
“We await an update on their conditions,” the force added.
The police said: “We await an update on their condition. A crime scene remains in place and enquiries into the circumstances are ongoing.
“At this early stage, there have been no arrests.”

The two injured boys suffered non-life threatening knife injuries and have been taken to hospital for treatment.

Three males aged 15, 17 and 18 from Milton Keynes have been arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm with intent, and are currently in police custody.
Inspector Nick Herceg, Milton Keynes police station, said: “This incident happened early in the evening and involved a number of young people with weapons.
“Two teenagers have suffered injuries but thankfully these are not life-threatening, although clearly this is a very serious incident.
“I fully understand that incidents like this will naturally cause significant concern in the local community, and I would like to reassure the public that we have a large number of police officers and staff deployed in the area conducting patrols and investigating this incident with the utmost priority.
“At this early stage of the investigation, we believe that the victims and the offenders are known to each other and we do not believe there to be any wider threat to the local community.
“However, should you have any concerns or information that you wish to share with police, please do not hesitate to speak to any of our officers in the area.”

Tuesday’s Croydon stab victim’s death comes days after a devastated mum described her family as “broken” after her “beautiful” son was stabbed to death at home.
Tai Jordan O’Donnell, 19, was discovered in Alpha Road with knife wounds to his legs in Croydon on March 3 and was tragically pronounced dead at the scene.
Mother-of-four Stacey, 35, said her son’s death, which was not gang-related, had left her family “broken”.
In a statement she said: “Tai was my first child and will always be my baby.”
“He deserves to be remembered for the amazing young man he was – not just another statistic.
“A beautiful soul has been taken from this world far too soon.
“We are completely broken without him and he has left a devastating void in mine and our whole family’s lives.
“It can never be filled. As a family we implore people please put down your knives.”
