Show creator Kay Mellor is a Leeds native and wanted series four of her series to showcase her home counties
She said: “There were parts of Yorkshire I wanted to touch on, like Otley and Ilkley and Burley in Wharfedale. The area is so beautiful but not many people shoot there.
“I’ve shot a lot in Leeds…I wanted to show off somewhere else. That’s why I picked The Chevin and Ilkley Moor and all round there.”

It currently has a population of just over 7000.
Ilkley Moor, Yorkshire

Popular with walkers, Ilkley Moor is famous for its panoramic views.
The beautiful countryside provided the inspiration for the Yorkshire anthem “On Ilkley Moor baht ‘at”.
Ilkley Moor is known to nature observers for its abundance of ground-nesting birds.
Otley
Otley is a market town 10 miles outside of Leeds. It provides the setting for the show’s kennels.
Known for its cobbled streets and 800-year-old market, the town is populat with hikers. The town’s bridge dates back to 1228.
It has been used to film other TV dramas including Emmerdale, Heartbeat and DCI Banks.
Monte Carlo Casino, Monaco
Episode two, of the series sees the gang place bets at at a Monaco casino.
The scenes were filmed at Monte Carlo Casino in Monaco, an iconic gambling spot.
James Bond films Never Say Never Again and GoldenEye were also filmed in the casino, as well as 2004’s Ocean’s Twelve.
Katherine Rose Morley, who plays Keeley Sanderson in the series, revealed the scene in the casino was her favourite to film.
She said: “It was about 4:30am and I had a real pinch me moment.
“We’re in a global pandemic, but I’m in Monaco and they’ve opened the casino just for us.
“It’s so grand and opulent and we’re just little old us. I really did have a moment of feeling really lucky and grateful.”
Script writer Kay Mellor has planned for season four to film in Las Vegas, but the COVID-19 restriction meant this wasn’t possible.
“Lockdown has been a roller-coaster of emotions for all of us,” Mellor told Bustle.
“Once it became apparent how serious things were getting with COVID-19, I started to get worried about America because of their COVID rate being so high.”
“I had been to Monaco, probably only two years previously, so I remembered it, and remembered the casinos and hotels, and how you feel when you’re there – poor basically,”
“Unless you’ve got a lot of money in Monaco, you feel like a fish out of water. And I thought to myself, ‘actually, Monaco feels more relevant’.”

Actor Neil Morrissey said: “We obviously didn’t get to stay overnight, but just filming there was a great experience. We were filming in this amazing suite and I did a scene in the bath.
“It’s a really glamorous bathroom and I’ve got chocolates on the side of the bath, a glass of brandy in my hand and my character’s dog is setting there next to me, which was all very nice!”
