Godzilla is known for his very long tail and atomic breath[/caption]

Known as the King of the Monsters, Godzilla is an absolute behemoth who defended by spiky-edged dorsal plates, which is so tough it can cut through metal.

The monster’s size which is accompanied conical teeth and chunky jaws mean you do not want to get caught in his clutches and anything that tries to attack will simply get demolished.

Another of Godzilla’s weapons is his massive, serrated tail, which can strike at an incredible force of over 22 million Newtons, which will feel like over 2,000 tonnes.

But perhaps Godzilla’s biggest advantage is that he is radioactive and is able to destroy enemies with his extremely hot atomic breath that surpasses 500,000°C.

Kong is very intelligent and packs a powerful punch[/caption]

It is will known that the giant gorilla possesses superhuman strength, as he can lift objects the size of him.

He has impressive reach as his arms are over 70 metres long. He’s also very fast, agile, has a great leap and is very quick across the ground, all qualities that make him very dangerous.

Gorillas also has an incredible a bite force of around 91kg per square centimetre (or 1300 pounds per square inch) and Kong’s size suggests his bite force is around 100 times greater.

However, Kong one step ahead in the mental game with his supreme intelligence which enables him to plan ahead, modify his behaviour according to his surroundings and is able to work out the intentions of others.

The verdict

After weighing up the strengths of both monsters, Godzilla simply has more ways to hurt his opponent and will be difficult to keep down.

While Kong has the powerful punch, great agility and super intelligence, it is unlikely that will be enough to overcome armour-plated Godzilla with super-heated atomic breath.

Add in his freakishly-long tail which is over 100 metres long, there is the possibility of being fried or slapped to death, which not even Kong will be able to survive.
