Dolly Parton received her second dose of the coronavirus vaccine, and commemorated the day in the most Dolly way possible.

Taking to Instagram, the 9 to 5 singer blessed us all with a photo as she posed with the doctors.

The 75-year-old also snapped the moment she was jabbed for the second time, while looking seriously glam in a bedazzled gold blazer and patterned face mask.

As you do.

Alongside the upload, she penned: ‘Dolly gets a (second) dose of her own medicine. Thank you Dr Naji Abumrad, @andrearae80 and @heatherbrooke613 of @vanderbilthealth.’

Fans were clearly thrilled at Dolly’s news, and flooded the comments section with love for the music icon.

‘We don’t deserve you, Dolly,’ one replied.

Another agreed: ‘Thank you so much! We love and appreciate you!!!!’

Others also took a moment to instruct the Jolene star to rest up after her jab.

An Instagram user begged: ‘Hope you’re feeling good, Dolly! Drink lots of water and rest!’

‘Hydrate and rest queen,’ a follower simply added.

We totally agree.

Dolly made headlines last year when she donated an incredible $1million (£723k) towards research at the beginning of the global pandemic, which helped to fund the Moderna vaccine.

However, despite this, she had absolutely no plans to skip the jab queue, and wanted to wait her rightful turn.

‘I’m not going to get mine until some more people get theirs. I don’t want it to look like I’m jumping the line just because I donated money,’ she told Associated Press.

‘I’m very funny about that. I’m going to get mine though, but I’m going to wait. I’m at the age where I could have gotten mine legally last week,’ she added.

‘I turned 75. I was going to do it on my birthday, and I thought, “Nah, don’t do that. You’ll look like you’re just doing a show”. None of my work is really like that.’

We are not worthy of Dolly Parton.
