Kate Ferdinand goes all out for Easter as she dresses baby Cree in adorable bunny outfit but couldn’t get husband Rio to join in

Kate Ferdinand fully embracing Easter by dressing up son Cree in something special for the occasion – but lamented not being able to get the rest of her family to follow suit.

The former Towie star, who welcomed her son with husband Rio Ferdinand in December, shared a lovely picture of Cree dressed in an adorable white onesie with a bunny on the back.

She posed in the mirror while cradling her son so her Instagram followers could see the Easter theme of his outfit.

The mum-of-four shared she had tried to get her other half in something similar, but after their wonderfully cheesy Christmas outfits she decided to let them off.

Kate, 29, said: ‘Happy Easter everyone. We have had such a lovely day ☺️ we celebrated a day early, because of lots of football tomorrow.

‘I wish I could get all the big ones (including Rio 😉) in matching bunny outfits but I just about get away with the matching Christmas pjs! Don’t wanna push my luck … so just Cree for now.

‘Hope you all have a lovely long Easter weekend.’

In further pictures she revealed the preparation for their Easter celebrations, including gift bags with rabbits on them for her children in readiness for an Easter egg hunt.

She also got busy in the kitchen making biscuits and filling glass jars with chocolatey treats to display in their home.

Her Sunday was just as busy as Kate posted her progress with their special Easter meal.

Along side a picture of potatoes soaking in water, Kate said: ‘Happy Easter…the worst job for me by far. Need to get it done early or I dread peeling the potatoes all morning.’

Kate has been open about her difficulties after having Cree, including battling with exhaustion.

She confessed that she wants to stop at just the one child after a traumatic time in labour.

She told MailOnline: ‘If you ask me right now I would say never ever again. Our house is very hectic as it is.

‘We have four kids and two dogs, it’s a madhouse. The thought of having another one makes me slightly anxious.

‘I’m only 29 but I feel 39 at the moment! But you never know, I might feel different in a few years.’

Kate is also stepmother to Rio’s three children Lorenz, Tate and Tia from his marriage to late wife Rebecca.
