Katy Perry doted on her new baby Daisy Dove as she went out for a walk on the beach in her hometown of Santa Barbara, California on Saturday afternoon.

The pop star, 36, who welcomed little girl Daisy to the world with partner Orlando Bloom, 44, last August wore a long blue and white dress while wearing a straw hat as she sheltered from the warm sun.

The singer did her bit to stop the spread of coronavirus and wore a pink floral mask while Daisy was strapped to her front an orange carrier.

Newborn Daisy could be seen wearing a white floppy hat, blue shorts and little white socks while actor Orlando went for a dip in the sea.

The Hollywood actor went out on a hydrofoil surfboard while Katy sat on the sand and enjoyed a cheese and avocado sandwich delivered by her parents.

American Idol judge Katy recently heaped praise on Pirates of the Caribbean star Orlando as she opened up about motherhood.

Warbler Katy said Orlando’s experience of being father to son Flynn, 10, with ex-wife Miranda Kerr was coming in useful.

During an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live, she said: ‘Yeah, I have family and support and I’ve got an incredible fiancé who has done this before.

‘He has a 10-year-old son so as much as I was a little bit like, “I don’t need to hear all of those stories”, they actually helped.

‘He’s been amazing, incredible and we’re so in love and we’re so grateful.’

Katy gave birth at a Los Angeles hospital and Orlando was allowed to be present in the room amid the coronavirus crisis.

She added: ‘He was such a great support, we had like a little boom box. He was there and he was so wonderful and just, like, holding my hand and looking into my eyes.

‘You want to film it but you also want to be present so there’s a fine line.

‘He was great, I highly recommend it.’
