Saturday Night Live mocked the response to Lil Nas X’s Montero (Call Me By Your Name) music video in a new sketch where he ‘lap dances on God to even things out’.

The singer – whose new single has reached number one in the charts – has come under fire for his video where he’s seen lapdancing on the Devil after using a stripper pole to ride down to hell.

He was later blasted by Nike, who are now suing him, for his ‘Satan’ trainers where there’s a drop of blood in the sole, and appears to bear a similar logo to the sports brand’s logo.

In the sketch of a chat show hosted by Britney Spears (Chloe Fineman), Lil Nas (played by Chris Redd) dismisses the issues, and says: ‘I don’t know why Nike so mad. The whole thing is Just Do It. Well, I did it.’

When Britney asks why people are so mad at the music video scenes, and he responds: ‘Because they’re close minded idiots? People are afraid of me because I’m different but really I’m just your typical gay Black Country rap sneaker entrepreneur.

‘I put my pants on like everyone else one assless chap at a time.’

‘I will say, you know that wasn’t the real Satan, right?’ he adds. ‘It was a dude in a Halloween devil costume, because the real Satan and doesn’t do like, music videos, so maybe chill?’

Britney then comes up with an idea, and tells him: ‘To help bring people together, would you be willing to give the laptops to God, just to even things out?’

Happily agreeing, ‘God’ (Mikey Day) then makes an appearance, with Lil Nas jumping right on top of him to twerk.

The real Lil Nas X later joined in on the fun, retweeting the video and declaring: ‘SNL going to hell.’
