Piers Morgan is set to give his first television interview since his Good Morning Britain departure with Fox News presenter Tucker Carlson tonight.
The 56-year-old broadcaster quit the ITV daytime programme last month after an on-air row with weather presenter Alex Beresford following his comments about Meghan Markle’s Oprah Winfrey interview.
Teasing the tell-all chat, Piers tweeted: ‘My first TV interview since that rather abrupt departure from @GMB. It’s time America got the actual truth….’

Piers Morgan’s interview with Fox News presenter Tucker Carlson will be available to stream from 4pm in the US and and 9pm BST in the UK.

Piers Morgan’s interview with Tucker Carlson on Tucker Carlson Today is only available to watch on Fox Nation, an American subscription video streaming service and spin-off from Fox News.
American citizens can start a free trial with Fox Nation before paying for a monthly subscription of $5.99 (£4.30).
There are currently no plans to make the interview available to watch in the UK, however, clips from the interview will be shown on Fox News’ Tucker Carlson Tonight at 1am BST.
As a result, some UK viewers will be able to see snapshots of the interview.
It’s been teased that Piers won’t be holding back and is set to go ‘nuclear’.
‘Piers won’t be pulling any punches,’ an insider claimed. ‘He is still very disappointed about the way things finished at GMB.
‘For a while there was anger, but now that’s switched to a determination – a determination to continue standing up for what he believes in.’
The source continued to The Sun: ‘He remains 100 percent convinced he was right about what he said with regards to the Meghan and Harry interview.
‘And he remains 100 percent convinced walking away was the right decision. Piers felt, in the end, he actually had no choice.’
