Letitia Wright has recalled what it was like to work with her Black Panther co-star Chadwick Boseman, who died of colon cancer last year.

During her appearance on Tuesday’s The Ellen DeGeneres Show, the 38-year-old opened up about getting ready to work on the Black Panther sequel without the late actor.

The Oscar-winner explained: ‘It’s still so hard for me to come to terms with his passing.

‘He was my friend and so it’s hard to think of him in the past tense still.’

She continued: ‘He led the movie with such compassion and just presence.

‘When Chadwick came on set, he was present and he brought his entire being to that movie and he was just so humble as well, you know. That leadership will be missed.’
