The Apprentice star Luisa Zissman has had her horse Madrono stuffed after his death.

Luisa sobbed as she saw the result of taxidermist Simon Wilson’s work.

In an emotional video she shared on Instagram, the TV star confessed she was ‘nervous’ as her horse was unveiled, adding that she was ‘gonna cry’.

Madrono was stood underneath a red sheet which was then pulled off to unveil the stuffed horse.

On being reunited with him, she immediately burst into tears as a friend could be heard comforting her.

When asked if she ‘likes’ it, Luissa nods while wiping her eyes.

In the Instagram caption with the video, she told her followers that she was distraught when Madrono was put down after suffering cancer.

‘The day we were reunited. I know I’m weird, I know this isn’t normal but when Madrono had to be PTS due to melanomas (cancer) I was shattered. I had seen @simon_the_stuffa amazing work and he was the first person I called,’ she explained.

‘I can’t describe the overwhelming heartbreak when Madrono died I spent a week in bed and got stress induced vertigo 🙈 (pathetic I know)

‘Seeing him again today was so incredible. He’s perfect, his kind eyes are exactly the same, the little swirls in his coat, his beautiful mane all so perfect. Thank you @simon_the_stuffa and your team. You really have made me so happy! (Even though I’m ugly crying).

‘And for those who listen to @annawilliamsonofficial and I LuAnna : The Podcast, you will be relieved to hear his balls are still intact.

‘Madrono will take pride of place in the entrance hall of my new house.’

She added: ‘You’re home now. My beautiful Madrono. He is the most beautiful, majestic, stunning horse of a lifetime.

‘Thank you @simon_the_stuffa you have captured everything about him so perfectly. Feeling very emotional.’

Luissa shared a video on her Instagram Story before going to see Madrono: ‘Loads of people have been interested in the journey of Madrono who I decided to have stuffed.

‘I am so nervous to see Madrono. We’re gonna film it, we’re not gonna do it live because I’ll faint.’

She later confessed she was ’embarrassed’ about her emotional reaction and she was going to ‘edit out my ugly cry face.’
