Katie Price has started a home renovation Instagram account for her house – dubbed the ‘mucky mansion’ – after debating whether or not she will move back in to the property.

The former glamour model, 42, renamed the house the ‘Plucky Mansion’ as she hopes to restore the home to its former glory and make it liveable once more.

Katie, who is also viewing houses with beau Carl Woods, 32, had revealed on her recent YouTube video that she is considering returning to live in the £2million mansion, but only if it is unrecognisable to how it looked before.

She told her followers that she would be charting the transformation, writing: ‘Follow my new Instagram page @plucky_mansion dedicated to my house.

‘I’ve decided to transform back to a family home and you can enjoy and give me advice and watch the journey.’

She also asked fans with home renovation businesses to get in touch with her to design and make over a room of her house in their own style.

Katie’s mansion had fallen into disrepair after she moved out following a nightmare year, which saw her face bankruptcy and driving bans as well as a stay in The Priory for severe trauma rehabilitation.

She has been living between a rented house and boyfriend Carl’s home, which he has also recently sold to buy another place.

Katie had revealed on her YouTube channel that she finds it difficult to spend time in her old home as it reminds her of bad situations from the past and affects her mental health.

She explained: ‘For me to move in the house, nothing at all could be the same. Because of my mental health, it just reminds me of situations and I don’t like it.’

The property has been targeted by thieves and vandals since remaining empty, with burglars even flooding Katie’s bathroom, resulting in the ceiling falling down in her kitchen from the water damage.

Katie also admitted the house has everything to offer that she and Carl were looking for in a prospective property, but will need a complete overhaul before it’s liveable once more.
