Piers Morgan condemns ‘frankly tragic’ Khloe Kardashian for attempt to delete unedited bikini pic from the internet

Piers Morgan has shared his thoughts on Khloe Kardashian attempting to have an unfiltered bikini photo of herself removed from the internet – and it’s safe to say he did not hold back.

The outspoken presenter, 56, dubbed Khloe ‘frankly tragic’ in his latest column for the Daily Mail after the Kardashian family tried to get the unposed image of Khloe in a leopard print bikini to disappear from social media.

Piers wrote: ‘With one carelessly released genuine photo, the scam’s been blown. Khloé Kardashian’s not some wondrously sculpted Venus-like goddess after all, she’s just a regular woman with regular looks and a regular body shape.

‘No shame in that – at all – yet she’s made herself very rich by pretending to be something very different and very special. And the moment that ruthlessly protected mask slipped – she went berserk.’

While Khloe has yet to address the furore, Tracy Romulus, a friend of the family and chief marketing officer of KKW Brands, reportedly addressed the issue in a statement released to Us Weekly

She explained: ‘The colour edited photo was taken of Khloé during a private family gathering and posted to social media without permission by mistake by an assistant.

‘Khloé looks beautiful but it is within the right of the copyright owner to not want an image not intended to be published taken down.’

Piers also addressed the message that Khloe was sending to her young followers by being so ‘horrified’ by the ‘refreshingly normal’ photo of her, taken by her grandmother Mary Jo Shannon on the family’s Easter break, surfacing online.

He raged: ‘As I’ve said many times, they’re a bunch of talentless fame-hungry greedy and hypocritical wastrels who want to have their celebrity cake and eat it. I see right through them, but many sadly don’t.’

Piers added: ‘The reason the Khloé fakery matters is that so many impressionable young girls and woman strive to look like the way they think the Kardashians look, from recklessly starving themselves to get the same fake waists, to paying plastic surgeons to irreparably nip and tuck their faces.

‘Or by using similar filters and photo-shopping to post equally unrealistic images of themselves online that they can never hope to match in real-life.

‘Their desperation to emulate their fraudulent idols causes huge mental health issues including anxiety, depression and worse.’

He concluded that Khloe should have owned the image rather than hiding it away from view to finally give her followers a glimpse at the ‘real’ her and empower other women to know that even Khloe doesn’t look like the airbrushed version of herself all the time.
