Kendra Wilkinson hits back after former Girls Next Door co-star Holly Madison reignites feud with Hugh Hefner sex claims
Former Girls Next Door co-stars Kendra Wilkinson and Holly Madison are making headlines, and now we feel like it’s 2010 all over again.
Yep, the Girls of the Playboy mansion star’s strained relationship has been tested once again after Holly shared her thoughts about Kendra’s claim that she didn’t sleep with late Playboy founder Hugh Hefner before moving in with him aged 18.
During her appearance on the Call Her Daddy podcast, Holly stated: ‘I had to sleep with him first … I’m not trying to slut shame anybody or anything but nobody ever got asked to move in unless they had slept with him.’
Kendra, 35, responded to the claims in a reply to an E! News Instagram post about the podcast as she quipped: ‘Dude… it’s 2021.’
The reality star was then quick to make it clear that she’s not trying to get into a new war of words with her former Playboy housemate.
She then added: ‘In response to her but times have changed, I forgive and have kids to love and focus on.’
The Kendra on Top star, who shares children, Hank IV, 11, and Alijah, seven, with ex-NFL star Hank Baskett, 38, also responded to another commenter who questioned why she had a negative reaction to the post from Madison.
She wrote back: ‘How am I hating. She’s one out there. I’m all love now baby.’
Then one fan claimed Holly, 41, ‘shouldn’t be shamed’ for her recollections of the past and stated: ‘There’s nothing wrong with comparing what was glamorized 20 years ago to how things are now How about we not silence women, even if what they’re discussing happened years ago.’
In response, Kendra stated ‘if you believe this will help women then I will try to understand.’
She added: ‘I wish I had more time with Holly to understand this side … I wish her the best in life and [hope] this helps heal her.’
The Girls Next Door aired on E! from 2005 until 2010, though Holly left in 2008 and Kendra went the year after.
The ladies had a falling out in the years after and have continued to clash over their differing accounts of what happened during their time living in the Playboy Mansion.
