Laura Whitmore has spoken out after fans thought that Celebrity Juice’s Keith Lemon let her baby’s name slip during an appearance on This Morning.

On Thursday evening, Celebrity Juice is set to return for its 25th series, with Laura and Emily Atack taking part as team captains.

It was recently revealed that Laura resumed filming just days after giving birth to her first child with husband Iain Stirling.

On the latest instalment of This Morning, Keith – whose real name is Leigh Francis – chatted with Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsford about the new series… but several viewers thought they caught him accidentally revealing the name of Laura’s newborn daughter.

Having spoken about who will be starring in the upcoming episodes, including Emily and Maya Jama, Keith said: ‘We’ve also got Laura Whitmore as well, who’s at home watching this with her child. So hello to Emily and Laura, hello!’

Some fans took this to mean that Laura had named her daughter Emily. But as Laura clarified on Twitter, this was in reference to her fellow team captain Emily.

In response to a Twitter user saying that they thought the shoutout to Emily was for Emily Atack, Laura replied: ‘Ha ha yes he was! Emily and I are team captains. It’s a gorgeous name but would get confusing x.’

Well that clears things up!

Laura and Iain are yet to reveal the name of their baby girl, whose birth they confirmed last week.

In a post shared on social media, which showed Laura holding her newborn daughter, she wrote: ‘Thanks for all the kind messages at this time. We are in love x.’

During a recent conversation with Metro.co.uk, Emily said that Laura ‘insisted’ on returning to work soon after giving birth.

‘I think she insisted she gets back to work, which is amazing. Incredible. She is a soldier, she’s amazing,’ Emily said.

‘She said everything went smoothly, so she’ll be going jogging this morning,’ her co-star laughed, describing her as ‘superwoman’.

Emily added that she was ‘so excited’ to see the baby.

This Morning’s Eamonn is set to appear on the new series of Celebrity Juice, having filmed the show last week despite suffering from severe chronic pain.

While speaking to Keith, Ruth claimed that he might have injured Eamonn during a game on the series that he took part in several years ago, when a pineapple was ‘whacked’ into his back.

This Morning airs weekdays at 10am on ITV.
