Manager Willing to Put Joe Joyce Against Francis Ngannou Inside the Cage
Heavyweight champion Francis Ngannou has alarmed the entire combat sports world, including the boxing roster, with his recent KO over Stipe Miocic at UFC 260. Subsequently, ‘The Predator’ has expressed his desire to enter the squared circle against the big names of boxing.
Starting from Tyson Fury and Dillian Whyte to Anthony Joshua, several names have popped up in the conversation and Joe Joyce is the latest addition to the mix. Although Ngannou’s boxing stint is nothing more than a verbal desire at this stage, it has already sent the fans into the frenzy.
Moreover, Joe Joyce’s manager Sam Jones has given an opinion on pitching the ‘Juggernaut’ against ‘The Predator’, both inside the ring and the cage. Brit boxer Joe Joyce hasn’t talked about the idea, but relying on his manager’s statement, it can be a possibility. Speaking with IFL TV, Jones opened up on the idea.
“Yeah, why not, I like Francis Ngannou, great, great fight between them. You should have seen them spar, unbelievable,” said Joyce’s manager.

However, Francis Ngannou has a roster full of elites to defend his UFC title against. After securing the championship against Stipe Miocic, a trilogy clash seems relevant at this point. Moreover, former light-heavyweight champion, Jon Jones, is looking for his heavyweight debut and can rightfully land up against the champion.
Adding to that, Derrick Lewis is also eyeing his title shot and ‘The Predator’ may be busy within the octagon for a considerable period of time.

Ngannou began his fighting career primarily as a boxer. However, fate drew him into martial arts and he began enjoying the stint. Already a champion in MMA, the African legend now wants to test himself against the boxers.
However, a 12-round matchup in the ring is very different from a 5-round fight in a cage. So, Ngannou might have to look after several aspects before finalizing his move.
It’s evident that Ngannou wouldn’t run out of viable contenders from the deep roster of boxing. So, it’s better that he defends the UFC belt before staging a massive crossover into the boxing world.
