The Circle viewers obsessed with awkward moment Manrika and ‘Felix’ finally meet in person

Viewers of The Circle were left cringing at the moment Manrika Khaira finally met Felix… only to find out the handsome soldier was really Natalya Platonova.

In the dramatic final episode of season three of the Channel 4 reality show, all of the finalists were able to meet face to face and find out which of them had been real and which had been catfishing.

The most-anticipated reveal of the evening – besides the winner being crowned – was Manrika finally finding out that the man she had been flirting with over the social network did not in fact exist – and the big reveal was even better than viewers had hoped.

As Manrika caught up with Hashu Mohammed – who had been playing as his Uncle Syed – it was revealed that Felix would be coming to meet them.

The pair freaked out as the door opened to reveal the military police officer was actually a female and not a male, with Hashu exclaiming: “Oh my god!”, while Manrika was rendered speechless and uncomfortably played with her hair.

Viewers were obsessed with Manrika confronting Natalya, asking her whether she ever felt bad about possibly deceiving her into catching feelings for a person that doesn’t really exist.

While Natalya was remorseful for misleading Manrika, she reminded her opponent that she was ‘just playing the game’ and had to make her character believable, admitting that she probably wouldn’t have got as far as she did by being herself.

Viewers took to Twitter to exclaim: ‘Manrika meeting Felix AKA Natlya is f**kin gold!! Hashu is buzzing’ and ‘that was so awkward between manrika and felix it was actually kinda hard to watch’.

Others added: ‘So Manrika is quite obviously fuming at Felix,’ ‘OMG- Felix meets Manrika- TV Gold!’ and ‘Manrika meeting Felix….best moment on TV ever!!’

The back and forth between the two meant they ended up in joint place in the final, with Natalya just pipping Manrika to the £100,000 prize by getting the most votes throughout the overall series.

The Circle is available to stream on All 4.
