Olivia Rodrigo is probably regretting getting her drivers license right now, after she was hit with a parking ticket.

The 18-year-old, who made a worldwide banger out of her coveted license, took to Instagram to show off her ‘violation’ notice.

Making a joke out of the whole thing, she quipped: ‘Damn this driving s**t isn’t all fun and games’.

We wonder if her next hit will reference the ticket…

The teen broke all kinds of Spotify records thanks to the release of Drivers License, with the song staying strong at the top of the UK singles chart for more than two months.

Not too shabby.

However, lifting the lid on the lyrics, Olivia confessed it actually took her four attempts to pass her test.

‘Essentially, the time I got my driver’s license it was my fourth try, which is really sad,’ she previously said, explaining that the pandemic and filming for High School Musical: The Musical: The Series got in the way of two tests.

‘The third one, I finally get there and I fly out from Utah to LA just to take the test because I had to take it in California,’ she revealed.

‘I’m sitting in the car and the guy comes by and he’s checking my lights and stuff like that, and he goes, “Okay, honk your horn now”.

‘And I go to honk my horn and the horn doesn’t work on my mum’s car and she had no idea that the horn doesn’t work on her car because she never uses her horn because she’s the calmest person in the whole world.

‘And so he said, “Your car is legally unsafe, I can’t take you out to take the test – go home.”

‘I didn’t even get to drive out of the DMV… I was so upset, I literally cried in the DMV parking lot.’

Thankfully, Olivia passed eventually, and we were blessed with one of the biggest bops in years.
