Hailey Baldwin calls out paparazzi who attempted to take pictures up her skirt: ‘Super disrespectful’

Hailey Baldwin has called out photographers for attempting to take pictures up her skirt.

The model, 24, appeared on Dixie D’Amelio’s YouTube series, The Early Late Night Show, where she opened up about her experiences with paps, explaining there had been times she felt ‘disrespected’ while out and about.

Recalling a recent time when she left dinner with husband Justin Bieber, she told the host: ‘I had noticed that someone had stuck the camera under the curtain from the ground angle, and I was wearing a really, really short skirt.

‘When we got in the car, I was like, I feel like that’s a tricky angle because I’m concerned that they would have shot up my skirt.

‘What else are you going to see?’

Hailey described their actions as ‘really, really invasive’, insisting that it’s ‘not okay’.

She said Justin asked the photographers if they had shot up her skirt, stating they replied: ‘“Oh no, we would never do that! Why do you think that? Nobody would ever do that!”

‘Well, it’s happened to me twice. So I think it’s fair for him to ask — because it’s super, super disrespectful to do that to anybody.’

Speaking on her relationship with the paps, Hailey added: ‘To a certain extent you have to understand what comes with this industry and this lifestyle.

‘It does come with the territory. I still try to just set my boundaries as much as possible with them.’

Hailey’s video comes after she responded to a viral TikTok video, where a waitress claimed she was ‘not nice’ when they met.

TikTok user @juliacarolann had shared a video rating a host of celebrities she had encountered while working as a restaurant hostess in New York, giving the star a score of 3.5 out of 10.

Addressing the claims on her latest YouTube video, she apologised for possibly coming across as rude to the waitress, admitting that the clip really upset her.

‘When I saw her video I was so upset,’ she said. ‘There’s never an excuse for being rude. I felt bad that that was her experience with me.

‘You never know what someone’s going through. I remember going through times in my life where I was so sad, and so heartbroken, that engaging with people felt hard for me.

‘I don’t ever remember meeting her, but I’ve thought about it and I regretted that. I wished that that wasn’t her experience with me.’

Hailey concluded: ‘I wish I didn’t act that way towards her. I’m a human and I made a mistake and I acted a way that was out of character for me.

‘I acted a way that I don’t want to be. I’m trying to do better every single day.’
