Khabib Nurmagomedov Trolls Conor McGregor for His False Donation Promise to Dustin Poirier’s The Good Fight Foundation
Much of the buildup involving Conor McGregor and Dustin Poirier leading up to UFC 257 featured an element of mutual respect for each other. Despite having talked trash the first time they fought, McGregor took a different approach this time around.
There was little to no trash talk from ‘The Notorious’. Instead, he maintained he had nothing but respect for ‘The Diamond’ for the way he bounced back after the loss. McGregor was also very complimentary of the charity work Dustin had been doing through his foundation ‘The Good Fight Foundation’ he also pledged to donate $500,000 to the foundation once the fight was over.
However, recent tweets by Dustin Poirier suggest that it was all smoke and mirrors and that a donation never came from Conor McGregor and his team.

Dustin Poirier makes a startling claim about Conor McGregor
‘The Notorious’ put out a Tweet recently stating that he predicted a front kick knockout for the trilogy fight set to take place on July 10th this year. To which Dustin replied, “That’s a fun prediction! @TheNotoriousMMA you also predicted a donation to my foundation and you and your team stopped responding after the fight in January. See you soon. July 10th Paid In Full!”
‘The Eagle’ responded to Poirier’s tweet with a video. The translation for the clip states, “Listen to me now! I gave you my promise? I’m taking it back.”

In a subsequent post, Poirier detailed that he thanked Conor and his team for reaching out and starting the process of a transfer. However, he never heard from ‘The Notorious’ and his team, despite reaching out three times.
It has been almost three months since the two men fought at UFC 257, but this is the first time Poirier has mentioned that a donation never made its way to ‘The Good Fight Foundation’. The latest developments are sure to have a big hit on McGregor’s image with MMA fans.
