Knoxville mass shooting updates – Multiple gunshot victims including one cop reported at Tennessee school

Multiple gunshot victims have been reported after a gunman opened fire at a Tennessee high school – including one police officer.

Police in Knoxville, Tennessee said on Monday they were responding to reports of a shooting at Austin-East Magnet High School.

Knoxville police said on Twitter: “Multiple gunshot victims reported, including a KPD officer.

“The investigation remains active at this time.”

Authorities did not say if the gunman had been taken into custody but the Knoxville News-Sentinel reported that one person had been detained in connection with the shooting.
