Ashley Cain rushed his daughter Azaylia to hospital for the second time in 24 hours after her heart rate soared to 200bpm overnight.
The former Ex On The Beach star and his partner Safiyya shared footage of Azaylia, who is battling a rare form of leukaemia, being transported to hospital by ambulance in the early hours of Wednesday morning.
Just hours before, the eight-month-old was taken to hospital for the second time this week for another transfusion after finding blood in her tears.
In her Instagram post, Safiyya shared a selfie with the sleeping tot and wrote: ‘Back in hospital tonight Azaylias heart rate was over 200. Currently waiting for her blood results to see if we can get her some antibiotics to treat any infections. I love & adore you sweet girl. Letsgochamp. Mummys hero [sic].’
She added: ‘You are amazing. Mummy & daddy promised to give you our 100% from day 1 & we will keep to our word what ever you need we will do for you baby… Let’s get you well and home for snuggles babba.’
Ashley, 30, also shared clips of Azaylia arriving at hospital and wrote: ‘Come on baby… I love you princess.’
On Tuesday afternoon, the couple explained that they had returned for more platelets after her bleeding resumed and her tears began to have blood in them.
‘We’ve just gone back into hospital to get Azaylia another platelet transfusion because last night the tears started having blood in them, so we needed more platelets,’ Safiyya revealed.
Tapping the drip, she added: ‘This is our saviour right now.’
Safiyya continued: ‘Azaylia had a 30min transfusion, but this didn’t stop the bleeding overnight, I put her on her observation machine so I could keep an eye on her oxygen & heart rate levels for reassurance.
‘I have the privilege to wake up this morning and watch her open her eyes and play this is precious/ Tomorrow isn’t promised to anyone, waking up today is the blessing itself.’
Ashley and Safiyya revealed last week that they had run out of options to treat Azaylia after specialist doctors in Singapore said her case was too complex for them.
The family had hoped to fly their daughter over to Singapore after raising more than £1.5million through a GoFundMe.
On Tuesday evening, people around the country stepped outside their front doors to clap for Azaylia, including I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! star Giovanna Fletcher.
